Cada semana en la ABC es ajetreada y está llena de emocionantes actividades, y esta no fue la excepción. Desde el lunes 11 de abril, empezamos a celebrar "Art Week", la cual culminó con el Día Mundial del Arte el viernes 15 de abril.
En Primaria, los alumnos han participado en todo tipo de divertidos proyectos durante sus clases de arte, y tuvieron a varios invitados especiales el viernes. Crearon obras con acuarelas y crayolas, experimentaron con diferentes tonos de colores con témpera y vieron videos para aprender más acerca del Día Mundial del Arte y artistas célebres como Leonardo da Vinci.
En secundaria, el pintor Rafael Flores visitó la ABC el viernes y creó obras personalizadas para los alumnos por precios accesibles.
El arte es una increíble forma de expresión y aquí en la ABC buscamos fomentar la creatividad, imaginación y apreciación por sus diferentes tipos.

Our weeks at the ABC are generally busy and full of exciting activities and this past week was no exception. On Monday the school began celebrating "Art Week", which led up to World Art Day on Friday the 15th of April.
In Primary, children have been taking part in all sorts of fun projects during their art lessons, and had various guest speakers on Friday. They created paintings with water colours and crayons, did some shading with tempera paints, and watched videos to learn more about World Art Day and famous artists such as Leonardo da Vinci.
In Secondary, Salvadoran aerosol artist Rafael Flores visited the ABC on Friday and created custom paintings for students.
Art is a great medium of expression and our lessons here at the ABC seek to foster creativity, imagination and an appreciation for different types of art. Go for it!
